The word “relentless” isn’t always considered a positive term by definition, because it can be deemed as harsh or inflexible. In life though, sometimes there is a time to bend, but not always.
This is a message relating to the mindset of a relentless personality.
Know When To Use Relentlessness
I went online and searched, “is it good to be relentless?” and I got this response:
“In real life, being relentless is a state of mind that can give you the strength to achieve, to survive, to overcome. To be strong when others are not, that means craving the end results so intensely that the work becomes irrelevant.” -Tim Gover
This concept is really important in every aspect of life. It’s a skill that successful people know how and when to turn on. Often, in today’s world, we talk about flexibility and empathy. These are two incredibly important reactions to every-day conversations and relationships, but they are just part of the overall tool chest when you are being relentless with a goal and a mission.
Through failure and set-backs, you have to have a mindset that is relentless by way of constancy and by being incessant. Sometimes as you progress through the hardships in life, sales, relationships you use your skills to know when you need to be flexible in order to achieve a final goal and reach the final destination.
Do Not Be Afraid of Failure
In business, the concept of being relentless is to keep pursuing amidst all odds. I often talk about failure in my speaking and performance coaching. The harsh reality in life is that you are going to fail. You are going to be knocked down and you are going to learn that the storm will try and engulf you the closer you are to your goals. So, with that, you have to stay strong and unwavering. You have to stay tough, you have to be unwavering despite all odds. Part of success is failure, and if there is one lesson I want you to take with you in these hard times is to keep pressing forward, keep pushing, stay positive and BE RELENTLESS.
Change the World With A Relentless Mindset
I’d be remiss to not mention the gigantic elephant in the room with our current state of affairs in this country and our world. The division in this world creates chaos and hate. For those that want to change it, you are going to have to take every tool out of your tool chest. You’ll be faced with people that have a different opinion that not only think you are wrong but a horrible person. In this, you use every weapon in your arsenal, and the irony is in the word weapon. The weapons you will need are love, compassion, empathy, education and understanding. Your shield is a thick skin to be able to deflect those that try to destroy your positive attitude.
Being the change is something everyone can do by basic actions in daily life. However, being a catalyst of change is not for the feint of heart. It’s for those willing to push towards a seemingly unattainable goal in today’s world which is unity. So for those willing to take on the challenge to be the change you want to see in the world, the only option you have to attempt to achieve that final goal is to be relentless.
Times are hard right now, so you have to be hard back. Never give up. BE RELENTLESS.
